TOP SEVEN 2006 PENNSYLVANIA SIRES BY STAKE HORSE ARE PIN OAK LANE STALLIONS

Lite the Fuse and Real Quiet are again at the top, this time as the leading 2006 Pennsylvania sires by number of stakes horses.  Both stallions had 16 stakes horses in 2006.  Pin Oak Lane sires dominated the top rankings and every stallion with foals of racing age is represented in the top seven.

PIN OAK LANE STANDS PENNSYLVANIA'S FIVE LEADING SIRES

With the addition of Real Quiet, Siphon (Brz) and Banker’s Gold, Pin Oak Lane Farm now stands the five leading sires in Pennsylvania according to 2006 statistics.  Lite the Fuse continues to be number one, as he has for the past three years.  Real Quiet, off an outstanding 2006 year, ranks number 2.  Wheaton, who died after the 2006 breeding season, is third, followed by Siphon (Brz) and Banker’s Gold.

BANKER'S GOLD LEADS ALL MID-ATLANTIC JUVENILE SIRES IN 2006

Led by graded stakes placed, My List ($119,638), and graded stakes winner, Lisa M ($81,670), Banker’s Gold has sired eleven juvenile winners with earnings of nearly $445,000.  Banker’s Gold’s progeny from his first few crops have now earned nearly $7 million, including three graded stakes winners, seven additional stakes winners and ten stakes placed horses.

West Virginia Vincent Moscarelli Memorial Breeders’ Classic Stake winner, Eagle Speed ($93,681) and Dr. Ernest Benner Stake winner, Fancy Dan ($64,525), are Coastal Storm’s stakes winners from his first crop.  Coastal Storm continues to lead all Pennsylvania sires in his first and second crop progeny earnings with twelve winners and nearly $400,000 in 2006.

QUIK PULSE MINDALE TO STAND AT PIN OAK LANE IN 2007

Jenna’s Beach Boy’s leading son, Quik Pulse Mindale p,3,1:48 ($777,331), is the winner of 36 races and nearly $800,000, including the Provincial Cup and American National, with a second in the Breeders Crown final.  Jenna’s Beach Boy is now the sire of the winners of over $45 million.  Quik Pulse Mindale is North America’s second fastest three-year-old at stud.  Pin Oak Lane Farm is pleased to work with Winbak Farm.  We expect Quik Pulse Mindale to be a major factor in the greatly enhanced Pennsylvania Standardbred racing program.

SIPHON (BRZ) CONTINUES STREAK OF GRADED STAKES WINNERS IN EACH OF HIS FIRST FOUR CROPS

With the addition of Siphon City in 2006, Siphon (Brz) continued to produce a graded stakes winner in every one of his first four racing crops.  Siphon (Brz) has now produced eight stakes winners, ten additional stakes placed horses and has earnings of over $11 million.  Siphon (Brz) is a sire of 50% graded stakes horses from all his stakes horses including three-year-old champion, Siponica, Grade 1 winners I’m the Tiger and Siphonic, Grade 2 winner Siphonizer and Grade 3 winner Sharp Impact.  This is in addition to the multiple stakes winner, Siphon City.

WILL'S WAY, WINNER OF THE G1 TRAVERS, HAS THE HIGHEST BEYER(126) IN THE LAST DECADE

Pennsylvania’s second leading juvenile sire by two-year-old earnings and sire of Grade 1 millionaire, Lion Tamer, has now produced 16 stakes horses, five of which are stakes winners, and has earnings in excess of $5 million.

WHEATON DIED NOVEMBER 12, 2006

On November 12, 2006, Wheaton was found in his stall with a fractured left femur and he subsequently died at New Bolton Center.  Wheaton, who was by the great Alydar and a half brother to Storm Cat, had sired 24 stakes horses (over 10%).  He was among the nation’s leading juvenile sires, leading all sires in North American in 2004 juvenile winners.  Wheaton was Pennsylvania’s third leading sire in 2006.

As of February 14, 2006, Wheaton leads all Pennsylvania sires with year-to-date progeny earnings of $281,790 and Lite the Fuse is second with earnings of $261,587.  Both horses are listed in the top four of all stallions standing in the Mid-Atlantic region this year.

Lite the Fuse and Wheaton lead all Pennsylvania Sires in final 2005 standings

Lite the Fuse, with progeny earnings of nearly $3 million, and Wheaton, with earnings over $2.8 million, lead all Pennsylvania sires.  Both stallions stand at Pin Oak Lane Farm and ranked in the top four of all Mid-Atlantic sires standing in 2005.  In addition, Pin Oak Lane Farm stood four of the top ten stallions in Pennsylvania, with Will's Way and Appealing Skier both earning well over $1 million in 2005.

Will's Way G1 winning son, Lion Tamer, places third in the Breeders' Cup Sprint

Lion Tamer, the multiple group stakes winning son of Will's Way and winner of the G1 Cigar Mile in 2004, finished a game third in the 2005 Breeders' Cup Sprint at Belmont Park.  Lion Tamer now has earnings of well over $1 million.  In addition, Willy o'the Valley won the 2005 G3 Maryland Breeders' Cup Handicap on Preakness Day at Pimlico.  He has earnings of over $325,000.  Will's Way has sired five stakes winners and five stakes placed horses in his first four crops and 12 percent stakes horses from starters.

On February 6, 2006, the good son of Wheaton, Melodeeman, set a new track record on the Aqueduct inner track going 5 1/2 furlongs in 1:03.9.

Wheaton son, Desert Wheat, ranks on the 2006 experimental handicap

The good stakes winning son of Wheaton, Desert Wheat, earned a ranking of 103 pounds on the 2006 experimental ratings.  He is one of ten stakes winners sired by the Alydar son  from Terlingua, the dam of Storm Cat.  Wheaton now has sired 20 stakes horses with progeny earnings of over $9 million.

Coastal Storm makes leading first crop sire list, ranks third in the Mid-Atlantic and first in Pennsylvania

Coastal Storm, with three winners from nine starters, eight of which have placed, was ranked on the 2005 first crop sire list with progeny earnings of $73,400.  He led all Pennsylvania sires in this category and ranked third in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Lite the Fuse's Ablo wins the Canadian classic, Prince of Wales Stakes

Ablo, the three-year-old son of  Lite the Fuse, won the $500,000 Canadian Classic, Prince of Wales Stakes. Ablo, a multiple stakes winner, finished 2005 with earnings of over $585,000, making him the leading earning son of Lite the Fuse. Lite the Fuse has now sired 12 stakes winners and 14 stakes placed horses in his first crops, with earnings of nearly $11 million.

Appealing Skier sires his fourth and fifth stakes winners

Appealing Skier daughter, Appealing Pond, won Florida's Cinnamon Girls Stakes on September 23, 2005.  On February 11, 2006, Innocent Appeal, another daughter of Appealing Skier, won the El Paso Times Handicap at Sunland Park.  Appealing Skier now has sired five stakes winners and four stakes placed horses, increasing his lifetime earnings to over $5 million.

Wheaton son, Santana Strings, wins the G2 Amsterdam at Saratoga

On August 7, 2005, the good son of Wheaton, Santana Strings, won the $150,000 G2 Amsterdam Stakes at Saratoga, increasing his earnings to over $313,000.  Wheaton has now sired 20 stakes horses, of which 10 have been stakes winners, and increased his earnings to over $9 million.

Tyler's Mark retires from his stud career with over $33 million in progeny earnings

Tyler's Mark, the patriarch of Pin Oak Lane Farm's Standardbred division, is officially retired from the breeding shed.  Tyler's Mark enjoyed a successful racing career winning back-to-back stakes at Lexington as a three-year-old, capturing the Tattersalls Pace with his record of 1:51.3 and the Bluegrass Stakes the following week.  His world champion son, Nick's Fantasy, gave a repeat performance at The Red Mile by equaling the world record of 1:50 the first week and then winning the Tattersalls Pace in 1:51.2.  Nick's Fantasy also won the 50th Little Brown Jug in the record time of 1:51.2.  Before moving to Pennsylvania, Tyler's Mark was the leading money winning sire of Maryland sired two and three year olds for nine of the ten years that he stood in Maryland.  Overall, he sired four world champions, 98 $100,000 winners, 139 in 1:55 and 441 in 2:00.  Being well adjusted to his long term blindness, Tyler's Mark now enjoys sunny days in his paddock while his successful daughters breed on at Pin Oak Lane.

Pin Oak Lane adds six new stallions in 2004

The enactment of gaming legislation has enabled Pin Oak Lane to add six quality stallions to join Coastal Storm, Pin Stripe and 2003 Pennsylvania leading sire, Deposit Ticket.  Led by Pennsylvania leading progeny sire, Lite the Fuse, Pin Oak Lane Farm also added G1 producing, Will's Way, sire of G1 winner, Lion Tamer; Wheaton, with more two-year-old winners in 2004 than any other stallion in North America; solid stakes sire, Appealing Skier; 2004 G2 winner, Iron Deputy; and Certain Storm, a Storm Cat full brother to leading sire, Berstein.

Will's Way son, Lion Tamer, wins G1 $350,000 Cigar Mile

Lion Tamer, the four-year-old son of Will's Way, rallied from last on the backstretch to run down Pico Central by 1 1/4 lengths to win the Cigar Mile on November 27.  Lion Tamer won five races in 2004 and increased his earnings to $763,380.

Lite the Fuse, with progeny earnings of well over $2.2 million in 2004, leads all Pennsylvania sires for 2005.  Lite the Fuse has sired eleven stakes winners and now boasts career earnings of over $7 million, including the outstanding two-year-old of 2004, Ablo, winner of the $250,000 Coronation Futurity at Woodbine on November 13th.

Pin Oak Lane adds young sires, Iron Deputy and Certain Storm, for 2005

Iron Deputy, winner of the G2 Brooklyn Handicap in 2004, retired with earnings of nearly $371,000.  A multiple stakes winning son of the great sire, Silver Deputy, he won the Brooklyn with a very fast Beyer rating of 112.

Certain Storm, the Storm Cat full brother to Berstein, will also stand the 2005 season at Pin Oak Lane Farm.  Certain Storm, a $950,000 Keeneland yearling, was unraced due to a medical condition.  Certain Storm is one of the best-bred Storm Cat sons to stand in the Mid-Atlantic area.

With earnings of nearly $1 million, Deposit Ticket was named the top Pennsylvania stallion in 2003 with offspring racing in Pennsylvania.  This is the second year in succession that Deposit Ticket has won the award

Pin Stripe sires first two-year-old winner in 2004

Dr. William Solomon's homebred, Online Degree, scored victory on October 6 at Penn National Racecourse.  The gelding was impressive winning by 11 3/4 lengths.  Pin Stripe, the Mr. Prospector full brother to champion mare, Queena, has produced outstanding looking foals in his first few crops.

Deposit Ticket again leads all Pennsylvania sires of horses racing in PA

For the second year in succession, Deposit Ticket led all sires with offspring racing in Pennsylvania in 2003.  Deposit Ticket is standing his sixth year in Pennsylvania in 2004. He, himself, had a successful racing career in which he won the GRI Hopeful Stake, GRII Sapling Stake, GRII Hollywood Juvenile Championship Stake and earned $444,361.  Deposit Ticket is the sire of 24 stakes performers, 13 stakes winners and has 77% runners from named foals.  His average earnings per crop is $1.1 million with an average earnings per runner of over $33,000.

Misfit sires two Maryland Sire Stakes Champions in 2003

Misfit, the leading pacing sire in Maryland, sired the two-year-old champion filly, Misnomer p,2,1:57f, winner of the $50,000 Sire Stakes final, and Misbet 3,1:54.1f, winner of the $50,000 three-year-old filly final.  Misbet was named Maryland's 2003 Three-Year-Old Filly of the Year at the annual Maryland Standardbred Breeders Association awards banquet.   Misfit is now the sire of four $100,000 winners in his first few crops.

Tyler's Mark daughter, Misty's Mark, goes over the $200,000 mark with her Meadowlands win on 12/18/03

Misty's Mark p,4,1:52, a winner by 4 1/2 lengths at the Meadowlands on December 18, 2003, raised her lifetime earnings to over $204,000 in her 11th  win of 2003.  Owned by Dr. William Solomon, the daughter of Tyler's Mark has retired from racing is expecting a foal by Misfit in May of this year.

Miner’s Mark to stand at Pin Oak Lane in 2003

Miner’s Mark (Mr. Prospector/Personal Ensign), a full brother to Our Emblem and winner of the GR I Jockey Club Gold Cup, will stand at Pin Oak Lane Farm in 2003.  Miner’s Mark is the sire of multiple stakes winners and has progeny earnings of $2,302,324 in 2002, by far the most of any sire standing in Pennsylvania in 2003.

Multiple Grade I winner, Fastness (IRE), to stand at Pin Oak Lane in 2003

The very fast and multiple GR I winner, Fastness (IRE) (Rousillon/City Fortress), will stand at Pin Oak Lane Farm in 2003.  Fastness (IRE) finished second in the GR I Breeders’ Cup Mile and equalled the track record winning the GR II Shoemaker Breeders’ Cup Mile in 1:32 3/5.  From three crops to race, Fastness (IRE) has sired seven stakes horses.  He had progeny earnings in 2002 of $1,279,959 and sired the 2002 Canadian three-year-old champion, Le Cinquieme Essai.

Pin Oak Lane Farm’s Misfit is again the leading Pacing Sire in Maryland

Pin Oak Lane Farm’s Misfit was again the leading pacing sire in Maryland for the second consecutive year.  He led the state in both 1:55 three-year-olds and 2:00 two-year-olds.  Misfit sired the winners of three of the four sire stake finals at the Maryland Showcase of Champions on October 12, 2002, at Rosecroft.  All three of the winners were bred and are owned by Potkin Stables, who also own and raced Misfit.  They are trained by Bruce Saunders, who was Misfit’s successful trainer, and were driven by Tom Jackson.  Mr. Fit won the three-year-old colt pace, The Fittster won the two-year-old colt pace and Misbet won the two-year-old filly pace.

Tyler’s Mark continues strong presence in Pennsylvania with three stakes winners

Tyler’s Mark continued his strong showing in the Pennsylvania program in 2002 with three stakes winners. They are Mark’s Superstar, who set a new track and season’s record at The Downs at Pocono of 3,1:50.3f; Jo Pa’s Bench Mark 3,1:53.3f $205,825; and Misty’s Mark 3,1:54f $153,157. Tyler’s Mark now has career earnings over $30 million.

Deposit Ticket leads all stallions standing in Pennsylvania in 2002 with offspring racing in the Pennsylvania program with progeny earnings of $1,435,097.  Deposit Ticket, himself a multiple graded stakes winner, has now sired nine stakes winners with a total of 12 stakes wins.  He has progeny earnings over $1.4 million for 2002 and over $1.5 million for each of the past three years.

Mark’s Superstar sets new track and season’s record

Mark’s Superstar, a three-year-old gelding by Tyler’s Mark, set a new track and season’s record winning his division of the $57,100 Pennsylvania All Stars at The Downs at Pocono on September 8, 2002, defeating Kilowatt in 1:50.3f.  Mark’s Superstar was bred by William Solomon and sold in the Pin Oak Lane Farm consignment at the 2000 Harrisburg sale.

Multiple stakes winning Tyler’s Mark daughter, Misty’s Mark, increases earnings to over $150,000

With an impressive win at the Meadowlands on January 3, 2003, the Tyler’s Mark daughter, Misty’s Mark 3,1:54f, increased her earnings to $153,157. She is one of the three outstanding Tyler’s Mark juvenile stakes winners of 2002.

DEPOSIT TICKET LEADS ALL PA SIRES STANDING IN 2001

Multiple graded stakes winning Deposit Ticket leads all sires that stood in Pennsylvania in 2001 in earnings with $1,882,159.  Peteski is second with $1,772,177 and Corporate Report ranks third with $1,409,600.  Corporate Report led all Pennsylvania stallions standing in 2001 with foals of racing age in Pennsylvania.  All three of these sires stood at Pin Oak Lane Farm during the 2001 breeding season.

MISFIT DOMINATES MARYLAND 2001 PROGRAM - NAMED LEADING PACING SIRE

First crop sire, Misfit, dominated the Maryland two-year-old colt pacing division.  He was the leading sire in Maryland for 2001, an award Pin Oak Lane Farm pacing sires have earned eleven of the past twelve years.  Misfit had three sub-1:56 and two sub-1:57

two-year-olds from a small first crop of just 33 foals.  Beecher Park (1:54f) and Vida Loca (1:55.2f) won in excess of $214,000 alone.  At the Maryland Showcase of Champions on October 6, Misfit sons finished one, two, and three in the two-year-old pacing colt final.  Six of the nine starters in the final were sired by Misfit.  On October 27, Beecher Park won the $47,800 Standardbred Retirement Foundation Pace final at Freehold Raceway after also winning one of the preliminary legs.

TYLER'S MARK APPROACHING $30 MILLION IN LIFETIME EARNINGS

Tyler's Mark, Maryland's perpetual leading sire who relocated to Pennsylvania is approaching $30 million in lifetime progeny earnings.  From a small crop to race in 2001, Tyler's Mark sired three stakes winners.  The outstanding two-year-old colt, Jo Pa's Bench Mark (1:55f), and the impressive two-year-old filly, Misty's Mark (1:55.3f), both raced well in the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes program.  Sporting Clays was his third sub 1:56 two-year-old.  Together they earned in excess of  $161,000.

With the addition of Golden Ticket and Freeway Ticket, Deposit Ticket has reached nearly $7 million in progeny earnings and over $1.9 million in 2001.  This will be his fourth straight year to earn over $1.5 million.  He is the sire of over ten percent stakes horses from runners.  On December 10, 2001, the Deposit Ticket two-year-old, Golden Ticket, ran third in the GI $345,000 Hollywood Futurity behind Horse of the Year, Point Given.

At the October 2001 Pearls of Dubai sale, the Deposit Ticket juvenile daughter, Dr. Quackenbush, was the second-highest seller for a price of US $381,316.  The average sale price for the two and three-year olds was $79,808.

Polish Numbers ranks 2nd with 3 winners from l2 starters and 2 year old progeny earnings of $l44,703. Deposit Ticket has also produced 2 stakes winners in 2000 in addition to several stakes placed and maiden special winners.

Tyler's Mark progeny win 1st Sire Stakes in Pennsylvania

Tyler's Mark's first crop to race in Pennsylvania has produced the sire stakes winners, Shadow Line and Jo Pa's Connection. Shadow Line, the 2 year old filly by Tyler's Mark's out of Scene Hanover, bred by Bill Camp and owned by J. Michael Sanford, won the 3rd Division of the PA Sire Stakes for 2 year old pacing fillies on July 2, 2000, at The Meadows. She took the winning share $3l,6ll purse in l:57.3. On August 20, Jo Pa's Connection won the lst division of the 2 year old colt stakes, taking the winner's share of $25,356 in l:55.3. Jo Pa's Connection was bred by William J. Solomon, VMD, and is owned by Paul Emposimato, Jr.

Deposit Ticket 2 year old brings $105,000 at OBS Sale

At the March, 2000, OBS Select 2 year old in training sale in Ocala, hip # 388, a colt by Deposit Ticket out of the mare, Tide, by Coastal brought a final bid of $105,000 by Michael Ellis. This follows the outstanding average for the last three years of over $40,000 attained by Deposit Ticket progeny at the 2 year old in training sales.

Tyler's Mark sweeps 3 year old Maryland Sire Stakes Finals

Dan's Misty, owned and bred William J. Solomon, VMD, equaled the stakes record of 1:54.2 in winning the $58,800 Maryland Sire Stakes Final at Rosecroft on July 1, 2000. Dan's Misty has now exceeded $l25,000 in earnings. She is trained and driven by Tom Jackson.
The 3 year old colt, Mat Austin, bred, owned and trained by Dan Warrington and driven by Steve Warrington, won the $60,720 Sire Stakes Final in 1:53.2.
This being the last crop of Tyler's Mark eligible to the Maryland program, he has continued to dominate the Maryland program in every year that he stood in the state.

 PETESKI joins Pin Oak Lane 2000 stallion roster

Canadian Champion 3-year-old and Horse of the Year, Peteski, has joined Pin Oak Lane Farm's Pennsylvania stallion roster. Peteski won $1,287,866, was a Gr. 2 winner and was Gr.1 placed during his racing career. He comes to Pin Oak Lane as the Mid-Atlantic's leading third crop sire. He is also Pennsylvania's leading sire by 1999 progeny earnings with $1,865,896. Peteski is the sire of 5 stakes winners - 3 of them in 1999 - totaling 6 stakes wins, including Gr. 3 winner, Nani Rose ($229,469) and multiple stakes winner and Gr. 3 placed, 3-year-old, Isaypete ($286,740).

 Tyler's Mark voted Maryland Pacing Sire of the Year for 1999

Tyler's Mark was again voted the Maryland Pacing Sire of the Year for 1999 at the annual awards banquet for the Cloverleaf Standardbred Owners Association and the Maryland Standardbred Breeders Association on January 8, 2000. 2000 will mark the final year of Tyler's Mark dominating reign as the leading pacing sire in Maryland, a position he has held ten times since his progeny began competing in the program. In 2000, his three-year-olds will compete for the last time in Maryland while his two-year-olds will begin racing in the Pennsylvania program

Deposit Ticket was the 1999 Leading Sire of Two Year Old Winners in the Mid-Atlantic region

Deposit Ticket ended 1999 with over the $1.5 million in progeny earnings and five stakes winners with a total of seven stakes wins. He is ranked nationally as a leading sire of two-year-olds and leads the stallions in the Mid-Atlantic region. Among those stakes winners are three two-year-olds led by Express Checking ($78,100 and 1 stakes win). He won the $50,000 Everget S and was second in the Jersey Jumper S. Cash On The Run ($97,615 and 3 stakes wins) won the $50,000 Birdcatcher S, the Canadian Juvenile S and the Winnipeg Futurity. Deposit Express ($35,580 and 1 stakes win) won the $25,000 All Sold Out S. His two-year-olds won over $500,000 in 1999, placing him among the national leaders on the Juvenile Sire List.

In addition, the five-year-old mare, Swearingen, won the $75,000 Ricks' Memorial at Remington Park on September 6 and Black Cash, a four-year-old gelding, won the $75,000 Breeders' Cup Handicap at Thistle Downs on August 8.

Deposit Ticket has also produced the good 1999 allowance winners, Gold Lady Gaylord, Cash Ticket, Crimson N Gold and Prime Asset. The latter three are all two-year-olds.

The Tabasco Cat yearling half-sister to Deposit Ticket sold at Keeneland on July 19 for $800,000 and a Depost Ticket yearling colt out of the mare, Windago by Hail the Pirates, sold at Calder for $210,000.

 Talk's Cheap, sired by Corporate Report, outstanding 3-year-old

Corporate Report finished 1999 with over $1.7 million in progeny earnings. His outstanding 3-year-old, Talk's Cheap, won the $200,000 Federico Tesio Stakes at Pimlico, the $100,000 Paterson Stakes at the Meadowlands and the $100,000 Annapolis Stakes at Laurel. He also finished second in the $75,000 Broad Brush Stakes at Laurel and third in the $400,000 GRII Pegasus Handicap at the Meadowlands. Corporate Report also produced the good 1999 allowance winners, Slick Report, Corporate Storm, Outlier and Dan's Report.

TYLER'S MARK DOMINATES MARYLAND RACING SCENE

Maryland's 1999 Showcase of Champions was held on October 9th at Rosecroft Raceway. Tyler's Mark progeny won three of the four pacing finals and finished two/three in the three-year-old filly division. Not Alone, 1:56, won the two-year-old colt final; Dan's Misty, 1:57.1, won the two-year-old filly final; and Wynfield Taylor, 1:53.1, won the three-year-old colt final. Overall, foals sired by Tyler's Mark finished first, second or third in nine of the twelve final places. Tyler's Mark has 11 stakes winners this year. Led by the sensational, Mark's Lovebug, they include Dan's Misty, Dusty Jean, GH Big Bang, G H Tungsten, Miss Adirondack, My Girl Angela, Not Alone, She's Doin' Time, Surfin Yankee, and Wynfield Taylor.

PIN OAK LANE FARM INTRODUCES MEADOWBRANCH IRISH TO STAND IN MARYLAND

With career earnings over $350,000, the Super Bowl son, Meadowbranch Irish, will stand his first season at stud in 1999 at Pin Oak Lane Farm's Maryland division. As a two- and three-year-old in the United States, Meadowbranch Irish raced on the Grand Circuit, winning the Reynolds Stake, the Bluegrass, and a Pennsylvania Sires Stake. While earning $147,171, he lowered his race record every year. 2,1:58; 3,1:57; 4,1:55.2. He was exported to Italy in 1995 where he again raced with the best and earned over $200,000. During 1995 and 1996, he won 8 of 14 starts, including the Premio Parma. He was second in two starts and third twice, including the Premio Tur di Valle behind the international star, Crowing Classic. In 1997, he finished third in the Premio San Paolo behind Elitlopp winner Gum Ball.

CORPORATE REPORT LEADS ALL PENNSYLVANIA SIRES

Corporate Report finished 1998 as the leading sire in Pennsylvania, with progeny earnings in excess of $1.3 million. Pin Oak Lane Farm's new stallion, Deposit Ticket, with progeny earnings in excess of $870,000, finished fourth with only 65 starters, by far the fewest starters of the top four Pennsylvania stallions.

The Grade I winning stallion, Deposit Ticket, will stand his first season at Pin Oak Lane Farm in 1999 at our Pennsylvania division. Deposit Ticket is by the Northern Dancer son, Northern Baby, and out of the good Mr. Prospector mare, Propositioning. Deposit Ticket was the co-leading third crop sire of 1998 with 15% stakes horses from starters. He is also the sire of six stakes winners and the two-year-old champion, Cash Deposit.

PIN OAK LANE'S SPORTIN' WOMAN IMPRESSIVE WINNER OF THE WONDERS DELIGHT STAKES AT PENN NATIONAL

On April 19, 1998, Sportin' Woman won the Wonders Delight Stakes by 2 1/4 lengths in 1:12.4 on a sloppy track. She has subsequently been stakes placed in the Foxy JG at Philadelphia Park on May 30 and the John J Shumaker Stakes at Penn National on June 28. She now has winnings in excess of $60,000.

NO NONSENSE WOMAN VOTED THREE YEAR OLD TROTTING FILLY OF THE YEAR AND BEHIND MALABAR MAN FOR TROTTER OF THE YEAR.

No Nonsense Woman, with 21 wins in 28 career starts and earnings of $1,127,136, was voted three-year-old trotting filly champion of 1997. She was second to Malabar Man in the voting for trotter of the year. No Nonsense Woman is expected to race in Europe during 1998 where she could well be the next great female trotter, following in the footsteps of such stars as Peace Corps and Delmonica Hanover.

PIN OAK LANE BRED MISS WHITEWATER ENDS 1997 AS THE SEASON'S LEADER TWO YEAR OLD TROTTING FILLY

Miss Whitewater, winning in 1:58.4f at Dover Downs on November 28, finished the season as the fastest two-year-old trotting filly of 1997 on a 5/8 mile track. She set the season's leader time with her win in the preliminary of the Matron Stakes. She went on to win the final and increased her 1997 earnings to over $100,000.

CORPORATE REPORT HAS SECOND STAKES WINNER IN 1997

The victory of THE BOURSE in the John McSorly Handicap at Monmouth on July 28, was the second stakes winner of 1997 and 6th black type winner from 63 starters for CORPORATE REPORT. THE BOURSE joins QUEEN OF MONEY, a graded stakes winning filly, who won the Santa Ynez Handicap earlier in 1997. CORPORATE REPORT, who stands at Pin Oak Lane, bred 78 mares in 1997 and is one of the nation’s leading third crop sires. He ranked among the leading sires, by average, at the recent Maryland two year old in training sale held May 19 and 20 at Timonium. His two year olds averaged nearly $34,000. CORPORATE REPORT juveniles were led by the bay colt out of CULEBRA’S STAR, consigned by Jigsaw Lane and purchased by Nancy Clark for $60,000. The sale showed an increase of 46.9 percent and averaged $25,543.

TYLER’S MARK followed his dominance in the Maryland Showcase of Champions with the top selling pacing yearling fillies at the inaugural Chesapeake Sale, held at Rosecroft Raceway on October 19. VIRGINIA PRINCESS, consigned by Fox Den Farm, was sold to Wayne Givens for $17,000 and MARK IT PAID, consigned by Winbak Farm, was purchased by Tom Cook for $12,500.

PIN OAK LANE FARM LEADS ALL MID-ATLANTIC AND PENNSYLVANIA STUD FARMS

According to an analysis by the Thoroughbred Times, Pin Oak Lane Farm ranked 26 of all stud farms in North America.  The determination was made by considering the stallions’ total earnings, average earnings, stakes winners from starters and graded stakes winners from starters.  Pin Oak Lane Farm advanced from 42 in 2005 to the leading stud farm in the Mid-Atlantic in 2006.
