Dr. Solomon, pictured here with the great trotting mare, Cayster, established Pin Oak Lane Farm in 1973. Dr. Solomon graduated from Georgetown University and the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. After completing a surgical internship at the University of Minnesota, he was resident veterinarian at Hanover Shoe Farms in Hanover, Pennsylvania, and subsequently at Castleton Farm in Lexington, Kentucky.
